“Works great for pots as well as the grill. Can grill up a whole pound of bacon in one shot and with the cover and the high lipped grill plate, no messy splatter. Perfect for cooking a full breakfast for 4 in one shot. Grills steaks, burger, pork chops and on and on and on. Takes up a small space on the counter, and during holidays when you run out of burners on the stove, as we all have, it gives you 2 extra burners that is easy to work with and doesn't get in the way. Great for simmering, steaming, boiling etc. I procrastinated for a long time, but always wanted one. During the holidays this product came in so handy and is quite portable, so we could move it around as needed and also used it as a meat warmer on the serving table. If you don't have stainless steel or induction capable pots/pans, then ensure you get a 6"-6.5" heat diffuser plate for each burner.”

“This little induction grill is great for 2 people. The removable cast iron griddle that comes with cooks even, and cleans up easily. Then you can remove the griddle and use the induction elements for a couple of smaller skillets ( induction compatible of course), or my new favorite, my camping griddle. Cast iron heats evenly, but just need to heat slowly and give it time to spread out the heat. I’m happy to make hamburger patties that are close to like we make outside on our grill. It makes great pancakes, but just 2 at a time. Bacon cooks nice and evenly across the griddle. The only downside I have is it’s a little small, but the compact size takes less space on counter, and storage. After using it almost daily for a month, I’m still happy with it.”

“My husband and I live in Tucson, but leave for five months in our travel trailer during the hot months. We prefer to cook outside as much as possible, and have been using a Coleman propane stove. I now plug the Cooktron into our outside outlet, and use it exclusively. It is faster than the propane stove, cleaner, and works in windy weather (the propane stove would not get hot enough if the wind blew). I can also bring it inside on rainy days and cook quickly and easily inside. I am so happy that a friend recommended it.”

“I have never had a standalone induction stove top and this was incredible. The ease of use was amazing and heats up super fast with an extremely high heat level and barely any noise. The cooking capacity is typical for any other stove top (about a 8 inch pan probably works best) the compatibility with any other pan is great too. Overall this is good for people who either don’t like their gas stove top or want something to quickly plop on the counter”

“We've had several full cover cooktops, but boilovers still get them dirty which then gets on the pans etc. These seem less likely to boil over maybe because of the induction? Any spatters are really easy to clean. We used to unplug the other cooktop because it was hard to tell if it was left on. This shows clearly when it's on or off and also shows when an element is still hot even if it's been turned off. The reality is though they cool down pretty quickly. Bottom line, this is well worth the money, even if you have to buy new induction pans (we did, you can get a whole set that works fine on Amazon for like $100).”

When the power went out for an extended amount of time due to a hurricane though our induction cooktop wasn't wired to the panel that is on the generator. No cooking for us. That's when I found this little gem of a cooktop. Clean up on this little cooker is so easy and as others have said I mostly just use the cast griddle that comes with it. I'm also looking forward to using this during cook outs. It's light enough and small enough that I can carry it right to the outdoor cooking area or use it on the outdoor table.”
